Singer, guitarist, and songwriter Mike Barry was born in Cambridge, MA. As founder of the band Pooka Stew he was nominated for two Boston Music Awards and named "Boston's Best Songwriter" by Boston Magazine.

Mike is the singer, guitarist, and songwriter for the band Super Genius, who have released two records: "The Cult of Money" on Track Records UK, and "Heel Thyself," on Igantius J. Records. Music from Super Genius has been heard on many TV shows, including "High School Reunion."

Mike's latest project is called Mickey B. The first single is "Hey, Daisy," and is available on iTunes and through The Connextion.

Mike plays guitar and sings with The Susan Cattaneo Band.

From his studio Babyland Recording Studio, Mike has engineered and/or produced many artists, often in collaboration with pal Dave Mattacks, including Debra Cowan and Feast of Fiddles.
