Compare and Contrast
Gallup Poll March 20, 2006
The other point, of course, is that we were right again. How did we do it? How did we know Mr. Bush's baseline of support was 37% way back when Gallup was still trying to convince us that "the values voters" had put him in office a second time? Simple math:
Evil people that Mr. Bush actually represents + stupid people + decent people who believe what they see on "The News" = 37%.
- Bush Approval Steady at 37%
Bush has averaged 38% over last four Gallup Polls
by Frank Newport
There has been little change in George W. Bush's job approval rating since mid-February. Four polls conducted from that point through March 16 have shown job approval ratings between 36% and 39%. The latest rating is 37%, essentially unchanged from the 36% measured in the previous poll.
- ...experience (and number crunching) has convinced us that the number of Americans who agree with the far right on most issues hovers between 33 and 37%. We know the right claim that at least half of all Americans are with them, but that's bluster, deceit, and wishful thinking.

Hey everyone,
I rarely ever post to draw attention to my shows, but I thought this weekendŐs show was worth doing a little pre-publicity for.
On Sunday, March 26, I have Matt Rothschild, the Editor of The Progressive magazine, as a guest and the topic will be impeachment. Mr. Rothschild has laid out a very convincing case for impeachment of the President, and you can read about it here:
http://progressive.org/mag_wx030706 .
You can also listen to a 16 minute audio recording of Mr. Rothschild laying out the case for impeachment here:
http://progressive.org/impeachment
The show starts at 10pm and runs until 12am. If you donŐt listen live, you can also go to http://whiterosesociety.org/ATR.html for audio archives of the show, generally available within a couple hours after the program ends. All my archives are there, and also at the website, http://allthingsreconsidered.org
To listen live: http://allthingsreconsidered.org/listenlive.htm You will need either Windows Media Player, Winamp, Itunes, or other streaming media player.
Hope you join me!
